Jung HQ

It all began 1912 in a greenhouse with the invention of the ⅛ rotation pull switch. Deeply rooted in its homeland and driven by the same pioneering spirit, the JUNG enterprise, with approximately 1,300 employees and 19 subsidiaries worldwide, is currently known for pure design and future-oriented solutions: Light, shading, climate, energy, safety, door communication and multimedia - the functional diversity of JUNG’s systems covers all areas of a modern electrical installation. JUNG products are ‘made in Germany’ and always manufactured with precision and trusted quality - with a clear commitment to the business locations Schalksmühle and Lünen. Here JUNG gathered particular experience in manufacturing future-oriented smart-home-technology and metal processing, while always keeping in mind its great responsibility towards the environment. For more than a century JUNG’s philosophy is ‘progress as tradition’, reflected in both its drive and attitude, always providing JUNG with an impetus to further explore hybrid living and working environments. Three values, i.e. ‘architectural design’, ‘premium quality’ and ‘customer proximity’ are very effective in all areas of the company’s philosophy. JUNG combines precisely manufactured, durable, purely designed products and noticeable innovation. Our values are also reflected in the exceptional material authenticity and simple operability. Thus, the surface switch LS 990, designed more than 50 years ago, is now a design classic. It is available in diverse high-quality materials and comes in many colours. JUNG offers the iconic switch exclusively worldwide in 63 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours, thus with a unique design variety. For decades, the third-generation family-run enterprise actively and passionately supports architects, builders and partners in the electrical trade by organising numerous events, engaging in different cooperations as well as providing useful planning tools such as the smart-home-configurator FEELSMART and the JUNG AR-Studio App. In particular the internationally renowned JUNG ‘Architecture Talks’ are, for 15 years, an established industry meeting place providing a platform for public and controversial discourse on current architecture topics. With the podcast ‘JUNG Architecture Talks’ and the webinars ‘JUNG Lectures’, the traditional company invites contemporary virtual dialogue.
