INTERIOR DESIGN
Justin Van Breda runs the London based Interior Design Studio, part of the atelier focusing on couture and bespoke interior design. Services range from complete refurbishments to house accessorising, styling and dressing for private clients. The atelier operates internationally and approaches each project with a strong sense of spatial design combined with the client’s specific lifestyle requirements, implementing solutions with flair and originality.

FURNITURE
A beautifully appointed collection of pieces comprise the JVB signature collection. Classic contemporary by design with a certain elegance and stature, they can be signature or transition pieces depending on where they are used. They are glossy, rich, layered and detailed.

BESPOKE FURNITURE PROJECTS
Justin Van Breda offers a bespoke design service for furniture projects; applicable for residential houses, high end property developments and hotel or commercial projects. Here we work closely with developers, architects, specifiers and interior designers. This includes designing pieces to a specific brief and requirements, working through the specification and the sizes on plan, delivering renderings, drawings and finishes samples, and overseeing the complete manufacture, quality control and installation process.

ABOUT JUSTIN VAN BREDA
Cape Town born, Justin Van Breda was educated in English and Politics at Stellenbosch University before turning toward the creative world of design. He studied at Design Time School of Interior Design in Cape Town before venturing to London on what was going to be a year out.
In early 1999 he started working for Nicky Haslam at NH Design and within 9 months was made Creative Director – and gone were ideas of years out.
During late 2001 he returned to South Africa to curate his first furniture collection, pieces of which still form the backbone of the designs. The showroom was first presented as JVB in 2002 on London’s Pimlico Road. The collection was launched in South Africa as JVB Furniture Collection with the opening of showrooms in Johannesburg in 2008.
