The co. La Torre has been for 4 generation synonymous of quality and originality, combining harmonically tradition and innovation. The origins of this firm start back in 1921, when the maternal grandfather of Massimo and Anna Latorraca, who are the present owners of the co. La Torre, founded his first company. Since then the story of the family has been strongly connected and interwoven with that of the business. In 1960 MR. Giuseppe Latorraca, father of Massimo and Anna, established his own company and in the early seventies the two activities were integrated to become an individual company under the name of 'La Torre'. Today, La Torre is a small but dynamic company, whose turnover has triplicate in the last 6 years and exporting 92% of its production to 40 countries in the 5 continents. It is note worthy that La Torre is the first italian manufacturer of taps certificated according to the norms uni en iso 9001 and 14001, a demonstration of the special concern of this company for the preservation of the environment. "We have always given our attention to the issues connected with the environment - explains Massimo Latorraca - and it is our policy not to overlook this aspect of the production process while we do the utmost to reach always higher quality standards from the 'project phase' through the working steps up to the final goal of the customer satisfaction". After university, both Massimo and Anna enter the company management under the careful supervision of their father who trasmits them his knowledge and experience. "In our tradition the engineering is the basic aspect of the production. The image of our company is based more on the products and their quality rather than on marketing strategies and advertising campaigns. Our ranges of taps are all of medium to high standard, made to satisfy the expectations of demanding users. Another point of strength of our organization, is the quick response we are able to give to the inclinations and demand of the market,always trying to mantain our own peculiarities and originality in the offer. The possibility to offer innovative and 'tecnological' product has always given us extra chance. For example we were among the first italian manufactures to offer about 20 years ago, self-closing, non concussive taps, and this range gave us the possibility to enter several markets all over the world". And the market response has always been positive and rewarding for the co. policy of this family firm, as can be seen in the gradual and costant increase of size and turnover. "We owe our success to the great strength and hard work of my father who was completely devoted to his work all his life. He suddenly left us in Jenuary 2001 and we will always be grateful for the values he transmitted to us and our satisfaction is in the efforts to realize his dreams and keep high the name of his company".
