LAB Arquitectura is an Ecuadorian architecture firm based in Manta, led by architect Luis Alberto Balzeca. The studio explores new ways of inhabiting space through contemporary architecture shaped by context, climate, and the everyday experience of its users.
Its work spans residential architecture, multifamily buildings, commercial spaces, and urban projects. Each project begins with an understanding of its particular conditions, allowing light, materiality, landscape, and movement to become active elements of the design.
Rather than adhering to a particular style, LAB approaches architecture as a process of exploration, seeking honest and timeless responses where every decision has a clear purpose and every space contributes to the experience of inhabiting it.
