Lay Light is a composite consisting of glass fibres – threads and mats – and a translucent matrix that allows light to filter through the structure of the material. The product was developed and is made at Fiberline's factory in Denmark, which as well as incorporating and showcasing the use of composites in its own windows and facades, also serves as the head office of one of the world's leading producers of glass fibre and carbon fibre composites.
