Love your Home for Less
Love your Home for Less
A little bit about us;
loveyourhomeforless.com was born after a long ten years experiencing the very high costs of running a furniture store on a high street in Fulham, London. We designed a great online website and soon discovered that most of our sales happened online or over the telephone. We thought, why are we paying all these overheads which dictate high product prices when we don't need to?! We had a eureka moment.......founded 'love your home for less.com' and we then found our beautiful barn in Surrey, where, by not having the high street shop, slashed our overheads by 45%, dropped our product prices massively, moved in, plus bought some chickens.
Why us;
We offer the best, high quality products, at affordable prices. No expensive high street shops or marketing campaigns = low affordable prices.
Our sofas and beds of this quality and design can cost twice as much on the high street.
Sofas - our sofas are designed and built to the highest possible standard, with solid beech frames that come with a 5 year guarantee. The seat and back cushions are feather wrapped and all covered in the best fabrics and Aniline leathers in the market.
We are trained Furniture Designers and Interior Designers with over 25 years design experience between us which means, we know what we are doing and we know how to design the best products to the highest possible standards at the right prices.

All backed up by excellent customer service.
Our Fabrics:
We select our fabrics very carefully for our sofas, beds and sofa beds, with the emphasis being on very high quality, natural fibre content, durability and ease of maintenance/cleaning plus, value for money.
There are too many fabric houses offering good fabrics at highly inflated prices and it's quite a task sifting through them to find the best fabrics that meet all of our strict criteria. We therefore buy direct from the mills wherever possible in order to offer these high quality fabrics at the best possible prices to you.
House Cotton:
Our House Cotton range is a very high quality, 100% pure, heavy weight cotton that offers a great range of colours and value for money.
The House Cotton tailors well on our Sofas, Beds and Sofa Beds and offers a clean unfussy look and has 40,000 Martindale Rub Test.
The House Cotton can also be washed in the washing machine on a 40 degrees wash cycle.
For our upholstered beds and fixed sofa covers, you can sponge down with warm soapy water (do not rub as this will brush the cotton and elongate the fibres). You can also use the services of your local carpet /upholstery cleaning company to wash the fixed covers when required.
Top Washing Tip! - Wash on a low spin cycle and place the damp covers back on the cushion pads ensuring they are aligned properly as you want your sofa or sofa bed to remain looking lovely! Then let them stand to dry and finish off with a steam iron on the cotton setting if required.
House Mix:
Our House Mix fabric is currently our best selling range. This is probably due to it being a mixed weave and this is great for wear and durability as it does show staining as much as a plain fabric.
The House Mix tailors well on our Sofas, Beds and Sofa Beds and offers a more sophisticated look and has a 40,000 Martindale Rub Test.
The House Mix is made from 48% Viscose (which is a natural fibre), 24% Polyester (gives strength and durability to the fabric), 20% Cotton and 8% Linen. This is a great combination as it makes for a soft and durable fabric. Mostly used on our Sofas and Sofa Beds but equally looks fabulous on our Upholstered Beds.
The House Mix can also be washed in the washing machine on a 40 degrees wash cycle.

Moleskin Velvet:
The Moleskin Velvet range is a 100% Polyester and is therefore very hard wearing with a Martindale Rub test of 75,000. The look and feel is very similar to a faux suede and has a nap direction which, when brushed by hand does leave marking - some people like this, some people don't. This is mostly used on our Upholstered Beds but can be used on our Sofas and Sofa Beds too.
Cleaning - when a fixed cover, stains can be removed with warm soapy water and sponged. Removable covers, Dry Clean only.
Florentine:
Looking for a fabric with a softness that you just want to cuddle up to? Or for a fabric in a rich colour palette? Or for a fabric that is so hard wearing, you can use it in almost any environment?
Dolce is a tactile chenille, developed with a myriad of soft furnishing possibilities in mind. It is soft to touch and velvety in look, yet as it is 100% Polyester it is also very hard wearing with a Martindale of 145,000: a versatile fabric ideal for both domestic and contract applications. Great for furniture, the soft handle also lends itself perfectly for sumptuous curtain treatments with an elegant drape, as well as for cushions and headboards.
Brushed Cotton Linen:
This is currently our best selling fabric, probably due to its soft, luxurious feel. Made in Italy to a very high quality. Made from a mix of 66% cotton and 34% linen offers a soft and comfortable range with a choice of unique colours.
It is advised that the covers are washed at a temperature of 30 degrees on wash cycle. It must also be noted that care should be taken when leaving the material in direct sunlight light, as sunlight can cause bleaching in the fabric. However, many new build homes now have UV glass fitted which filter out the damaging rays.
House Linen Cotton:
This luxurious linen cotton blend is a high wearing fabric with a Martindale rating of 30,000. Refined and stylish this is truly a fabric to fall in love with. The fabric suits all of our products, be it sofas, sofa beds or upholstered beds, adding great texture to a piece and fully exhibiting the design of the product.
The House Linen Cotton is made of 40% Viscose (which is a natural fibre), 22% Polyester (gives strength and durability to the fabric), 20% Cotton and 18% Linen. This is a great combination as it makes for a soft and durable fabric. Mostly used on our Sofas and Sofa Beds but equally looks fabulous on our Upholstered Beds.
Similar in composition to the House Mix, however it has a much finer weave for a smoother texture and visual effect.
To wash, it is recommended to use 40 degree wash cycle or for our upholstered beds and fixed sofa covers, you can sponge down with warm soapy water (do not rub as this will brush the cotton and elongate the fibres). You can also use the services of your local carpet /upholstery cleaning company to wash the fixed covers when required.
