Founded in 2001 by Giorgos Varelas and Alexandros Patsis, Lowfat architecture + interiors is an architectural design practice based in Athens. The practice’s portfolio includes private residence commissions, leisure interiors, retail stores, hotels and workplaces.
The level of excellence of the studio’s work has been recognised by various awards and publication. True to its core vision as a space of creative collaboration, the studio’s team consists of people with a shared interest in design, culture, material research and construction traditions and methodologies.
Lowfat’s work spans across various scales and is the product of a well crafted collaboration between design research professionals and construction coordination specialists.
