This is what LSI’s founder and president set out to do and is still doing 19 years later. With a vision to add humor, warmth and a factor of “cool” to one of the hardest working surfaces in any facility Rick Moffatt harnessed his creative power and brought images of nature to our flooring; Water, Grass, Pebbles, Wood, Cow Hide……..all of which you are sure you can reach out and touch.
Not only is nature depicted on the surface of many tiles within the product offering, LSI embraces and respects nature in the manufacturing of our flooring material. With a captive manufacturing facility we are nimble enough to incorporate all the best and latest research and development to ensure a cutting edge product that is more fully green. Our tiles are engineered to ensure low VOC-emission. A full 20% recycled content from our own manufacturing waste is used in the filler layer of each tile and plank. The product also contains up to 10% post consumer waste. At the end of its useful life it is 100% recyclable and we want it back! We are engineering for the future.
Vinyl is simply the best solution for many practical reasons like maintenance, cost, and durability. And like so many products we have used for over a decade the technology has evolved. LSI has contributed to and participated in the latest innovations in luxury vinyl tiles. All LSI Floors are engineered to withstand the rigors of daily traffic, whether it’s a busy retail environment, a commercial office building, a healthcare facility or a night club. Manufactured with five layers of construction our floors are built to last the lifetime of any project. Our new UV cured microscopic glass bead top surface is the latest in slip-resistance technology. Not only does it make our floors safer, they’re now also virtually stain-proof and easier to clean and maintain.
Some facilities are more demanding than others. LSI has a Healthcare Collection; , for these applications. This series incorporates enhanced slip-resistance technology and anti-microbial surface treatment to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
