Mestemaker Architecten (MArchitecten) is a Dutch architecture and engineering practice based in Wolvega, Friesland, and a member of the BNA (Royal Institute of Dutch Architects). The office was founded in 2012 by Theo Mestemaker, architect and building engineer (ir., TU Delft, Architectural Engineering), which means design and technique come from one hand.
We develop complete plans for housing and commercial buildings, and we also work on urban design and building technology. Our clients are private individuals, property developers, contractors and housing associations. We listen first and translate their wishes into a design that stands out, but is above all liveable and practical, and rooted in the character of the place. From the first sketch through to completion we stay involved and keep an eye on budget and regulations.
