Minera Skifer stands for high-quality slate products from Scandinavian rock types that are many hundreds of years old. Minera Skifer is Scandinavia’s largest producer of slate, with mines in Oppdal and Otta in Norway, and in Offerdal in Sweden.
The company’s head office is located in Oppdal.
The Minera Skifer group has a workforce of about 145 employees and it has an annual production of a little under 300,000 m2. Annual sales amount to approx. NOK 170 million.
Slate from Minera Skifer is exported all over the world, earning a reputation over the decades as a high quality product. All our products carry CE environmental marking.
