Michael Kirollos is the founder and Design Principal of MK design Architects in Santa Clarita, California. He graduated in 1988, after a 5 year program, at the Alexandria University, with a bachelor degree. After 1 year of practical experience, he relocated to Kuwait and pursued a dual career of practicing and teaching. In 1997 he joined the firm of Lee Nichols Architecture in Charlotte, North Carolina to work on the East Carolina university project. In 1999 Mr. Kirollos joined the firm of HHPA in Los Angeles California to work on the Denver Museum of Natural Science. During this time he was an instructor of Autodesk software. In 2001 Mr. Kirollos joined DMJM to work on the California Dominguez Hills University. In 2004 he joined RTKL working on a variety of hospitality projects. In 2006, Mr. Kirollos practiced independently and founded MK Design Inc.
Mr. Kirollos was Lead Designer for the following buildings: Greek Orthodox Monastery of the Theotokos, Dunlap, California Wesco Aircraft,Evergreen Animal center,San Fernando Market Place, Diba Medical Center,Santa Clarita retail center Tenant improvement for restaurants (Ko Sushi, Oat’s N Way, and a few Starbucks stores in California) Tenant Improvements and expansion for or exiting Sun Surf Animal Center Medical Building and Ambassador Dogs and Cats Center in Long beach TMC LLC development,Ranch Base Plaza, Mission Valley Bank .
