ORY.architecture

ORY.architecture is an architecture, design and urban planning studio led by Samantha Groh and Rahim Rezzouk. After a 45-years experience, the studio founded by Jean Jacques Ory is evolving.

It is renewing its approach and engaging in open reflection on contemporary transformations and the urgent challenges our world faces. Whether in the conversion-reinvention of heritage buildings or in new construction, 'metamorphosis' must be considered.

ORY.architecture's DNA is based on a conviction that has become a creative approach: "focusing on the relationships between history, the city, and the future." Heritage is contemplated in its dual temporality, both in repairing-reinventing the existing and in anticipating obsolescence and promoting the reversibility of buildings for the future.

The studio advocates for an architecture where artistic vision and technical expertise combine to create meaningful projects. Design and execution are integrated within ORY.architecture, considered as equals.

This culture is embodied by the 60 team members of the studio, whose creation - design - realization process is organized into four collaborative units with complementary skills: architecture; interior architecture; project management; and imagery and creation.

A fifth unit, the Lab.ORY, transcends project timelines and champions innovation, research, and development to transform our architectural practices and address the climate emergency.
