Fernando Garcia Pino (1, Madrid, 1965) and Manuel García de Paredes (2, Madrid, 1966), graduated at Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM), founded Paredes & Pino Architects in 2000.
Both have completed their training working on numerous projects, works and competitions, in renown offices. In the period from 1992 to 1997 Fernando Pino works in the Mansilla and Tuñón office and later with Juan Navarro Baldeweg. Manuel García de Paredes works from 1990 to 1999 in Paredes Pedrosa architects practice.
Since 1998, they have won several national and international awards of architecture, such as Europan 5 and 6, the Citizens Activity Open Center in Cordoba (CAAC), housing for the Municipal Housing and Land of Madrid (EMVS) , the building of the Administrative Courts in the City of Justice of Madrid, the Olympic Gymnastics Hall and the Access and Services building to the Olympic Village for the 2016 candidate city or Yebes multifunctional center in Guadalajara.
Both have been guest lecturers in numerous national and international universities. Fernando Pino is professor in the Architecture Project Department at the ETSAM since 2004 and now they are also professors in the University of Architecture IE at the campus of Segovia.
