Since 2015, Pedro Marchand Arquitectura covers a wide range of services, encompassing not only architecture, but also rehabilitation and design. The search for the fluidity of space and the character of the architectural object is the guiding principle of our creative work. An architecture centered on the human figure that values comfort, functionality and aesthetics. An architecture that goes beyond the exclusive search for conceptual quality and also aims to achieve maximum construction quality, with high technical rigor and intelligent financial management. Our proposals incorporate bioclimatic principles capable of improving the performance of built environments. Nevertheless, we believe that a well-built architectural work and its ability to resist over time is one of the essential factors for the ecological sustainability of construction. Pedro Marchand graduated in architecture at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon in 2008 with an Erasmus at the Escola Superior Técnica de Arquitectura in Barcelona. He started his professional career working outside Portugal, namely in Lausanne, Paris and Berlin. In 2014 he moved to Lisbon and created his own studio, Pedro Marchand Arquitectura. Over the years, it has developed projects of different scales and programs. He believes in the beauty of fluid space, in the beauty of simplicity and that ecological and social sustainability is the greatest challenge for his generation of architects.
