Peter Ibruegger’s OUROBOROS tile range is inspired by the archetypal symbol of eternity depicting a snake eating its own tail. Echoing the ideology of eternity, Peter Ibruegger’s OUROBOROS tiles invite the viewer to interact with the range of geometrical snake sections on each tile to create one of the endless pattern possibilities specific to their choice. The arrangements can vary dramatically in size and pattern from very simple lines covering a sink area to spectacularly complicated meanderings on a staircase wall.
