Pierre Gonalons is a product and interior designer, creative director and scenographer. Born in Lyon, imbued with Italian culture, he defends a vision of design which strikes a chord with decorative arts or popular culture and minimum design. He considers his period as a meeting between the past and the future. His work, deliberately enrolled between anonymity and spectacular, prioritises the expression of the material used and its implementation, whether modern or traditional. Beyond a simple function, objects should have a contemporary meaning and deliver a sincere message.
Graduated from École Camondo in 2002, Pierre Gonalons founded ASCETE in 2003 aged 25.He designs for ASCETE producing a collection of furniture, lights and objects. Ascète builds a global and confidential universe which has seduced the best retailers since its creation
