We work on space. The sensory experience of interior and exterior spaces as a living background to daily processes and concrete uses is a central aspect of our architecture and design work. Housing, work, research, mobility, infrastructure, urban design—our design philosophy is shaped by the conviction that well-conceived concepts, reduced to the essentials, are what first enable a realization that is appropriate in terms of both content and economy.
We view building and design as an interdisciplinary, process-oriented task that brings together experts from various fields with the goal of combining maximum sustainability and cost-efficiency with innovative, contemporary technical solutions. Conceptual considerations are aimed at providing relevant architectural answers to complex urban planning tasks and the associated ecological and socio-cultural issues.
Clear construction methods, accessibility, and an openness to development combined with high functionality are important to us. Our architecture is not one of “built images”. It creates structures, open and precise in equal measure: a framework for the complex flow of images of use.
