Javier Romero Soto (Madrid 1971) is an architect, graduated from ETSAM in 1997. In 2010 obtained a Master's degree in "Sustainable Construction and Energy Efficiency" and in 2012 a Master's degree in "Research in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Construction and Town Planning" both by the UPV. He has been working as an architect since 1997, having participated and won several architectural competitions of national and international scope. He has participated at several national and international conferences on architecture, sustainability and energy efficiency, such as SB10mad, the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow (for the Year Dual Spain-Russia 2011), CONSTRUMAT 2011, etc. He has also participated as a teacher in the VII and VIII Santander Architecture Workshop. In 2008 won the Ortega-Alloza award (COA de Cantabria) in the publications and research section with ARQ-vis magazine. In 2009 at the Congress of Architects of Spain the design “Sillón e213” was awarded first prize in the "Experience / Future Competition" in the Future category.
