Rüssli Architekten AG is an architectural firm based in Lucerne. The team, consisting of 20 employees, develops and plans demanding construction projects for public and private clients in Germany and abroad. The company has received numerous awards for competent and innovative construction. In addition to new buildings for residential and commercial buildings, the team of architects prepares plans and studies on individual plots of land and concepts of urban planning systems. The company specializes in high-quality conversions and renovations in the historic preservation context. Participation in public competitions and study assignments is an integral part of Rüssli Architekten AG's professional activities.
The company was founded in 1964 by Walter Rüssli. In 1996 Justin Rüssli joined the company as a partner after many years in the USA and took over the chairmanship of the management in 2004.
Rüssli Architekten AG maintains a partnership and successful cooperation with the internationally renowned Steven Holl Architects office in New York. In addition to joint competition projects, realizations of projects, especially in Europe, will be greatly expanded.
