SHULIN ARCHITECTS founded by CHEN Lin in Hangzhou in 2015, Shulin Architects is an office focusing on the design of architecture interior, soft decoration and landscape. In 2020, we were rewarded the best small architectural office in the world by the Architizer A+Firm Design Awards. Currently, we focus mainly on the integrated design and construction of homestay hotels and rural cultural environment. We are also devoted to urban renewal, creative projects and interior space design. Starting from small projects, we insist on taking rural research, Chinese gardens, traditional culture and artistic aesthetics as our inspiration to independently launch practical projects and architecture-related researches with attention on rural construction, typology, and respecting the authenticity of construction and the locality of materials. Meanwhile, we study the relationship between nature and architecture, human and environment, the old and the new, and explore new fields of architecture in continuous practice.
