Studio Decode is an award winning young architectural design firm with a green and technology centric initiative seeking sustainable transformations through architecture. The firm is interested in exploring the blurred boundaries between construction, sustainable thinking and technology.
Founded in June 2006 the practice is headed by architects Ashok Dutta and Meghana Dutta.
The firm’s works are an effort to produce an enriched environment through the overlapping connections to design, context, environment, engineering as well as processes of production. Projects at the firm include among others large office campuses, Institutional Campuses, Multi-family homes, Single-family homes, interiors, retail and hospitality.
Many of the firm’s commissions are in the realm of design of high performance buildings. The firm is committed to environmentally responsible design and actively investigates sustainable solutions in design and construction.
Currently the firm is working on a diverse range of projects of varying scale in various parts of India. The firm’s core services include architecture, interiors, master planning, consultancy in sustainable design and branding.
The firm has won awards nationally as well internationally. Works of the firm has been showcased in national as well as international publications and journals.
