Born in 1984, Louise de Saint Angel lives and works in Paris.
In 2003, she began interior design studies at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts et Techniques (E.S.A.T). Then, in 2006, she interned with designer Pucci de Rossi who awoke her fascination with a direct, tactile relationship to objects and materials.
In 2007, she was awarded an Environmental Design degree.
Following an initial professional experience in a museography design agency, she chose to continue learning with industrial designers such as Gilles Belley or Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.
In 2010, she opened a studio, STATUE, in collaboration with designer Romain Guillet. Together, enjoying a shared preference for transdiscipline creativity and an open notion of design, they developed spatial, form-related projects.
At the same time, she has been creating since 2012 textile projects for other designers such as Jean Baptiste Fastrez.
Now established as her own she works on different creative filed from furniture to product design.
At present, Louise de Saint Angel focuses on textile self-production, part of an ongoing exchange between industry and the creative arts.
