Studio Per is a design studio based in Shanghai and Milan, working acrossarchitecture, interior, and product design. Operating between differentcultural and geographic contexts, the studio approaches each project as asite-specific and research-driven practice. The name "Per", meaning "for"in Italian, defines the studio' s position: design is conceived for use, fortime, and for lived experience. This principle guides our work fromconcept to realization.
We believe that design extends beyond functional resolution. Ourprojects explore the spatial qualities that shape perception and memory,grounded in material logic, proportion, light, and the everyday rituals oflife. A long-term perspective informs our approach, allowing spaces toevolve, endure, and remain relevant over time.
Through a balanced integration of Eastern and Western perspectives, wedevelop clear spatial narratives expressed with restraint and precision.Each project is defined by disciplined geometry, carefully calibrateddetails, and a measured construction language.
