I work with a team of creatives and a global community of makers to create zen and extraordinary residential, commercial, and hospitality experiences defines through nature, art, storytelling, and collaboration, here in the UAE and internationally. Balance and nature is the Shizen standard, delivering impeccable, tailored service from Architecture and Interior Design concept to completion for our clients. Obsessed with natural textures, and authentic pieces made with passion is synonymous, with playful expressions and artisanal and architectural embellishment, a Shizen space tells a story, beautifully. Shizen design methodology is research based; exploring all opportunities to ensure our projects are responsive, relevant and meaningful, satisfying the clients brief while enhancing the places and communities they occupy. A human-centric approach with empathy towards our clients and end users, promoting wellness and sustainability in all aspects of our project designs. Hence, Working with small creative studios allows us to give back to our communities and to provide them with a global platform to showcase their work. We strive to understand what a project 'should be' with a sensitivity towards context, environment, and culture. Drawing inspiration from the local vernacular we interpret regional forms and materials to deliver projects that are contemporary, timeless and embraces time.
