The Purple Ink Studio is an Indian practice that sees Architecture as a powerful catalyst in reshaping the cultural landscape of India.
Established in 2011 by founding partners Aditi Pai & Akshay Heranjal, Purple Ink has grown into a highly collaborative studio with principals Nishita Bhatia & Arpita Pai.
Based in Bengaluru, the practice passionately believes in crafting incredible stories through architecture that is contextual and unburdened by normalcy. Decoding unique briefs, the studio works on ideas that embody a bold, uniquely Indian Narrative.
With over a decade of work, the studio is published worldwide and has won numerous awards. Featured by FORBES INDIA in their 30under45, Perspective Hongkong’s 40under40 ASIA as one of the 40 creative architects in Asia who will shape the design world. A finalist in WAF 2024 for Srishti School of Design, the studio has also been honoured with prestigious awards such as, ‘Best Practice in India’ from TRENDS in 2016, CWAB Awards 2019 as the Top Architects of the Year (South) and ID HONOURS, amongst other numerous National & International Honors.
