The Spirit of Poland is a joint initiative of designers and founders of Polish brands, which aims at showcasing the potential of Polish designs abroad. The series of The Spirit of Poland consists of exhibitions and accompanying events, at which young design community meets, and through which design becomes a promotion tool for Polish creativity internationally. The first of the series was the exhibition organised at Tokyo Designers Week 2010, developed as a result of collaboration of designers with the Polish Embassy. Thanks to support from the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the exhibition was shown in 2011 at 100% Design in London and again, at Tokyo Designers Week. Last year the exhibition was shown in Brazil during the DW! São Paulo Design Weekend.
