Founder David Altman designed, built and installed the first electric steam bath for home use in 1958. You can see the original patent filing from July 7th, 1958 HERE. Grandson, Mitch Altman purchased the ThermaSol steam bath division in 1989 and remains the company CEO today.
World headquarters are located in Round Rock, Texas just north of Austin. Our product is designed, tested, manufactured, warehoused and shipped out of this location.
