Thomas Winwood Architecture

Thomas Winwood Architecture is an emerging Architecture and Design studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 2010, our studio works on residential, cultural and commercial projects providing full architectural and interior design services from concept design through to completion. The studio strives to create design excellence through sustainable, functional and carefully crafted projects to achieve a poetic response to both the site and each client's brief. Projects are realised through a collaborative process with our clients and consultants to achieve design outcomes that are tailored to our individual clients needs and realise their aspirations. The studio also has a strong interest in Architectural education and research. Thomas is currently tutoring design at Monash University and has taught previously at the University of Melbourne. Thomas is frequently an invited guest critic for University design studios and has presented his work in lectures in Melbourne. Thomas is actively involved in the profession as a member of the AIA Victorian Chapter Council and Chair of EmAGN (Emerging Architects + Graduates Network) and participant in the AIA Small Practice Forum. Thomas Winwood Mckenzie has worked for leading architects in Amsterdam, New York, Berlin, Milan, Hamburg and Melbourne. He received his degree from the University of Melbourne and the University of Manchester. Thomas is a registered architect with the ARBV and an A+ member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
