At Tropp Lighting Design our ultimate goal is planning for architecture – we consider light as important feature but not as an end in itself. This results in individual, project-based solutions for each construction. Our scope of work includes architectural spaces of all kinds, from buildings, infrastructure projects or temporary constructions to outdoor and urban areas. In cooperation with renowned architectural design firms we have successfully completed numerous unique projects.
Full integration of architecture and light is the most important prinicple in our planning practice. This refers to artificial light as well as to daylight. By considering both components we create comfortable, inspiring and energy efficient working spaces. For each structure we develop individual solutions highlighting the architectural design and creating unique identity, of course with particular consideration of economic, technical and environmental factors.
Being in close contact with the industry we guarantee the most contemporary planning practices. In the planning process we involve leading manufacturers who offer state-of-the-art products with long-time maintenance. If our solutions require individual product design we have competent partners at hand. As a professor for lighting technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Clemens Tropp (COO of Tropp Lighting Design) is closely involved in innovative research processes aiming at sustainable building concepts.
