Ultra Studio is a design studio based in Amsterdam. We work on lighting and product designs - celebrating uncomplicated and innovative solutions.
We love functional design and uncomplicated solutions. In our approach of projects we always seek for the relevance in form, function and context. Most of our work is commissioned, but sometimes we find the opportunity to develop our own ideas into tangible results.
The studio is situated at the former NDSM shipyard, a raw and industrial surrounding and an important daily inspiration.
Ultra Studio is founded by industrial designer Daan van Tulder. Works have been granted national and international awards: Renault Design Award, Design Innovation Award Slovenia, Vitra Design Challenge, Senior Design Contest.
