Unilux Screening Pioneers has been synonymous with innovation in the field of insect and sun screens and blinds since 1990. As true pioneers we constantly engage on a quest for further improvements and new solutions. Read more about how we operate below. Unilux key figures - permanent team of 50 staff; - located in Boxtel with no less than 10,000 m2; (incl. own production shop, warehouse and powder-coating shop); - founded in 1990 as a manufacturer of customised insect screens for the specialist trade; - Topspin launched in 1996; - introduction of the Japanese plissé, or folding, door in 1999, adapted for the Dutch market by Unilux; - introduction of the wedge screen in 2002; - expansion of the product range in 2006 with Unilux’s own window plissé unit; - launch of in-house powder-coating in 2007, considerably increasing quality and flexibility; - introduction of the Rollerwall in 2008; - and in 2012 Unilux will be presenting three (!) new products at R&T, the international sun screen and window decoration trade fair in Stuttgart: Plisséfit, and Protula.
