Various Architects are constantly expanding our global network of architects, landscape architects, designers, artists, and engineers hand picked by us for collaboration on projects of all sizes.
Our experience working with large international design teams has inspired our approach to architecture. As the name Various Architects implies, we aspire to be a facilitator of great collaborative design that focuses on the product, not the individuals. We are constantly expanding our network of qualified companies and talented individuals that we can call upon for their expertise and inspiration. The network is called upon when designing teams for larger projects, specialist consulting, peer reviews, and the outsourcing of labor on our projects where necessary. We are actively collaborating with firms in England, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Poland, and USA on our projects.
Networking and designing across the internet using tools such as our project basecamp site, video conferencing, screen-sharing, instant messaging, and e-mail allows us to bring in the skills and manpower we need for jobs of almost any size. Our goal is not to become a large office based in Oslo, but to remain a key facilitator as part of a larger meta-office where project teams are considered and designed for the job at hand.
With our background and experience with large cultural and public buildings, we have been approached by a number of well-known architecture firms for collaboration in the past year. These include Diller Scofidio + Renfro, OMA, and our former colleagues at Snøhetta. We bring the experience and inspiration of working with these companies to all of our projects, large or small.
