VIDA- Ventures in design and architecture was established at the millennium shift. Four architects with separate practices joined forces to create a strong dynamic with broad competence. We shared an approach to architecture and design, and found that our differences in character made for a creative environment.
Our ability and desire to work parallel with projects of different scale is manifest in realised projects during the first year. We begun with a city-planning project south of Stockholm, followed by commissions for interior design -shops and offices- then capping off the year investigating alternative methods for developing Stockholm’s city-centre.
With an expanding field of experience and know-how, the office has been able to take on projects of increasingly complex character and scale. Our goal with VIDA is to maintain a wide operative profile, based on our strong belief that the different perspectives of the projects nourish each other.
