Practice Profile
Waldo Works is a design practice set up by Tom Bartlett in 2000 which specialises in interiors and architecture. Our designers come from an architectural background, therefore allowing us to design and manage large building contracts through to specifying small interior elements. This provides our clients with an integrated and thorough design offering. We are situated near Notting Hill, London. We work internationally and enjoy the varying challenges in meeting our clients' requirements.
Currently we are: designing a house in the country, new build houses in Argentina, re branding and redesigning a substantial amount of property in Covent Garden, among other residential and commercial projects.
Design Statement
While we say that our approach to each job is with a fresh design perspective, meaning that we are influenced solely by the brief, there are obvious common strands present in our work. Our design values include: balance and proportion, the mixed use of traditional and modern materials, a modernist ethos with reference to history and decoration, wit and a sense of Englishness.
