BACKGROUND
Established in 1986 by Principal Architect Phil Easton, Western Design Architects (WDA) grew from his garden shed into what is now a successful and respected design practice. Located in Dorset, Western Design has not let go of its rural roots and is situated in a converted barn in beautiful countryside.
Our practice has evolved to encompass a variety of building types including housing, education, agricultural, leisure, commercial, healthcare and master planning. To all of which we bring a wealth of design knowledge and hands on practical experience.
We are an enthusiastic team of highly skilled Architects and design professionals who love to create both stunning contemporary buildings and honest traditional spaces.
We are accredited RIBA Conservation Architects, with expertise in Listed Buildings, Grades I, II* and II, buildings in conservation areas and in areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).
