Based out of Gurugram, India and an extension of the renowned furniture brand Alsorg, Wriver was conceptualised by its four co-founders – Sajal Lamba, Kapil Bharti, Sudhir Verma and Jitender Singh in response to the void of luxury furniture brands in the market. They wanted to create a brand that represents 'Made in India' globally. The brand is committed to fostering innovation derived from diverse sensibilities by amalgamating technological know-how, decades of business acumen, and international standards to energise modern living worldwide.
Wriver was founded to bring homegrown design innovation to the trend-conscious consumer. Since its inception, the brand has taken great strides across India and on the global stage. It has steadily expanded across India by opening a flagship store in Gurugram and experiential centres in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, and Hyderabad.
The brand aspires to live up to its motto by crafting detail-oriented furniture pieces and accessories that reflect material innovation through their in-house design think tank Wriver Design Studio, helmed by Co-Founder Kapil Bharti and Principal Designer Harjot Singh, while collaborating with the brightest minds in the industry, such as Studio Sumeet Nagi, Morphlab, MuseLAB and Hive.
Wriver has participated in some of India's most prestigious design and cultural events, showcasing its indomitable spirit among local and global peers and patrons, while representing some of the most prominent and respected design minds. These events include India Design, AD100 Awards, Delhi Contemporary Art Week and DownTown Dubai.
