YZA(YZ-Architecture) is a multidisciplinary design studio led by architect Hyoung-gul Kook, author of Nowadays Architecture and Professor of Architecture at Ewha Womans University.
Evolving from HG-Architecture, YZ-Architecture pursues innovative design grounded in space, materiality, form, structure, and technology. The studio embraces a multidisciplinary approach that extends beyond architecture to encompass interior design, installations, façade design, exhibition design, furniture design, and lighting design.
Rather than simply adapting to existing conditions, YZ-Architecture seeks to create meaningful differences through experimentation, exploration, and a continual pursuit of new possibilities. The studio is driven by challenges that envision future ways of living, working, and experiencing space.
Transcending conventional disciplinary boundaries and the traditional limitations of architecture, YZ-Architecture strives to create high-value design solutions where creativity generates cultural, social, and economic value.
