zanderroth was founded in 1999 by Sascha Zander and Christian Roth. In the years since, the firm has developed housing at all levels of scale – from perimeter block developments to housing estates, all the way to urban redevelopments and expansions. zanderroth has become renowned especially for its innovative and architecturally sophisticated housing projects in Berlin. In the process, the firm has learned that achieving an optimal result is dependent on understanding the entire value chain of a property. For this reason, in addition to stressing livability, quality, and sustainability at all scales, zanderroth projects lay an equal emphasis on feasibility and financing.The firm recently completed the lightweight concrete building Magazinstraße in Berlin and is currently working, among other projects, on the urban planning project Belsenpark II in Dusseldorf and Hafeninsel II in Zollhafen Mainz.
