WHO WE ARE We like to consider ourselves to be the reference point for the production and sale of a large range of pebbles and natural stones to creatively decorate any type of indoor or outdoor setting. Four generations of entrepreneurs have grown the company since 1929 in Zandobbio, in the province of Bergamo. Production and storage are spread over 5 distinct sites measuring over 200 thousand square metres. Our core business is certainly the production and distribution of a very wide range of pebbles and chippings from all over the world. We want to give our customers the chance to choose from marble, porphyry, granite, decorative stones, glass chippings and semiprecious stones, all sizes of pebble of rounded shape, lava, tuff, sea and river pebbles, polished and glass objects with an unparalleled granulometry range. The product range is also enhanced by materials and components for walls, floors and decorative solutions for the garden and outdoors: natural products that find full expression at StoneCity, the permanent exhibition inaugurated in 2012 in Bolgare [province of Bergamo]. SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability is a fundamental aspect of our company strategy. We try to operate in a socially and ecologically responsible manner, minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. We are committed to a continuous search for productive solutions that enable us to make, for example, better use of refuse as a resource and minimise production waste. Owing to our modern plant we are in constant control of fume treatment and filters, recovery of water and the search for alternative and reusable packaging. We offer sustainable solutions that respect nature like glass, a material that is 100% recyclable: our choice was to use, for all marketed glass products, recycled raw materials. Also the marble products that we produce are made from stones recovered from the quarries: natural waste materials or materials generated from other industries are a leading source of raw materials for us. Most of our products are of sustainable quality, are highly durable, maintenance-free and can be recycled.
