Wigglesworth-Weider GmbH

Founded in 2005, Wigglesworth-Weider took over production of a collection of lighting fixtures designed by the British artist and designer Peter Wigglesworth. The design of the collection's classic model, the L1/Inox, dates back to 1970. It emerged from Peter Wigglesworth's interior design concept for Paul Smith's first clothing store in London. The Wigglesworth-Weider collection specializes in Halogen and LED ceiling/wall lamps for private as well as commercial and public application. The lamps have been used by a wide number of international bureaus, such as David Chipperfield Architects. Applying the same design philosophy layed out by the L1/Inox, the collection of lamps has steadily evolved. The current collections account for progress in the area of LED technology and the Ecodesign Directive. All lamps are produced and assembled in Switzerland.
