Les Jeurs House, named after the hamlet overlooking the road to the Col de la Forclaz, is a project that is rooted in local memory through its interpretation of the form and scale of neighbouring traditional buildings. Situated on the outskirts of Gryon, facing the Alps, the modest, yet refined architecture of this small, 100-year-old chalet gives it a fascinating and timeless beauty. We had a difficult task - to assemble a large luxury single-family house from the modules produced at the factory.But first, it is important to say what the word "Modular" means to us. This is a house consisting of volumetric modules, in which all the interior decoration, electrics, plumbing, and possibly even furniture are made at the factory. Such a house is assembled in the production, delivered by trucks and installed with a crane in one day on the lot. Another 1-2 weeks are required for the final exterior finish. The interior features modern Scandinavian-style furniture and a lighter coloured timber, to make the space feel welcoming and bright. Oak timber clads the walls and ceiling to create the sensation of a "cocoon" with views of the mountain beyond, with inherent characteristics that form textures and colours while evoking sensations of warmth, cold balancing feelings of soft and hard to the touch. This barn is located in Mase in a village context. Formerly intended for agricultural needs, nowadays its function was no longer in demand. The project manager / architect dreamed of converting it into housing. In a space of 5mx5m this chalet offers the possibility of accommodating 8 people in comfortable beds. To do this the bedrooms / niches are located under the roof, the living room on the middle floor and the kitchen / dining room on the ground floor. Modulare Funktionsblöcke werden  als Puzzleteile zusammengefügt, um eine ideale Komposition zusammenzustellen, bei Bedarf kann addiert oder subtrahiert werden.  Das System kann an Notwendigkeiten von verschiedenen Standorten angepasst werden.   Das Gelände befindet sich in einem bewaldeten Tal der slowakischen Tatra. Der Vorschlag soll sich trotz des großen geforderten Volumens camouflageartig in den Kontext einer dichten und hohen Bewaldung integrieren.
