Ein Dialog zwischen Abstraktion und Dekoration in einem Penthouse über den Dächern von Mailand
In der Wohnung, die PLUS ULTRA im Mailänder Stadtteil Sant'Ambrogio für ein designbegeistertes junges Paar eingerichtet hat, setzt sich ein durch zeitgenössische grafische und strukturelle Akzente gekennzeichnetes Layout zunächst unauffällig in Szene, um dann die Hauptrolle zu übernehmen. Die Arbeit an der Verteilung, den Geometrien, den Farben und den Texturen definiert zunächst eine Art verbindendes Gewebe, das sich als die eigentliche architektonische Intervention entpuppt: unaufdringlich, raffiniert und entschlossen.

Café Got bar design embraces the urban vitality of Barcelona
With a long and active façade facing the street, Café Got is a spot where the city of Barcelona and Hotel Kimpton Vividora come together, inviting the community in.

The designers, El Equipo Creativo, were inspired by Ciutat Vella, and more specifically the Gothic Quarter and its street atmosphere, where little narrow streets lead you to unexpected plazas, patios, and entrances to residential buildings and stone, greenery and water are material essentials. It was decided to introduce these same elements to the design of the bar.

A collection of stylish furniture including lounge armchairs, side chairs, bar stools, poseur tables and dining tables were chosen and featured vibrant colours and geometric patterns for the upholstery. Although situated in the heart of Tokyo, the Yoyogi area retains much of its natural environment. The area is also home to numerous properties belonging to the client who engaged us to design this office building.
Given the site’s visibility from the train station, we opted for a design that incorporates open space on the eastern (station) side to emphasize the abundant natural features of the Yoyogi area. Yoyogi was named after a great fir tree that stood in the area for generations. Our design also sought to create a ‘tree’ that would serve as a local symbol.Borrowing the ‘Y’ from Yoyogi, we created the undulating patterns that give the building its three-dimensional frontage.

Kimpton Vividora Hotel, a new hotel in the Old City of Barcelona offers a big food & beverage variety. Designed by El Equipo Creativo, this unique and different atmosphere invites everyone to come in, relax, and enjoy the various areas of the hotel, such as the Cafe Got.
Cafe Got is a spot where the city of Barcelona and the Hotel Kimpton Vividora come together: an active space with a long façade facing the street which invites guests and locals to enter and interact.

UN PALACE, XIX ROOM – Geneva, Switzerland
Der Architekt Giampiero Peia, Inhaber des Büros Peia Associati, stellt den neuen Sitzungssaal der Vereinten Nationen in Genf vor. Das Projekt ist gerade fertiggestellt und mit einer institutionellen Zeremonie hinter verschlossenen Türen eingeweiht worden.
Es handelt sich um den neuen Saal der Vollversammlung der UNO in Genf, der am 12. November 2019 in Anwesenheit des Aussenministers von Katar, S.E. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, des Botschafters der Mission Katars in Genf, S.E. Ali Khalfan Al-Mansouri, und der neuen UNO-Generaldirektorin von Genf, Tatiana Valovaya, eingeweiht wurde.
