Earthboat
Earthboat is a mobile cabin accommodation built entirely with Japanese cedar CLT. Designed as a nature retreat, each unit is a self-contained guestroom that requires no foundation and can be relocated as needed. The cabins are deployed across rural Japan in places like ski resorts, fish ponds, and sports fields—former leisure sites that are now often underused. Earthboat offers an adaptable way to stay within nature while addressing a nationwide issue through a compact architectural solution. Each cabin is part of a growing system with minimal land impact, reconnecting people to rural environments and supporting new cycles of use.

Grand Tsuru Niseko
Mitten im Herzen des faszinierenden Schneeparadieses Niseko, einem renommierten internationalen Skigebiet in Hokkaido, Japan, entsteht ein visionäres Entwicklungsprojekt namens "Grand Tsuru". Das Projekt liegt nur 2 Autominuten von den lebhaften internationalen Skipisten entfernt und fügt sich entlang einer ruhigen Waldstraße nahtlos in die natürliche Landschaft ein. Das Grundstück umfasst drei weitläufige Parzellen, die von majestätischen Birken und Eichen umgeben sind, und eine diskrete vierte Parzelle, auf der sich die Wasserversorgung befindet.

Misumi Annex
This project involves the renovation of a 120-year-old traditional wooden house in the Misumi region of Shimane Japan into an accommodation facility.The building, which looks out to sea and nestles up against a hill at the back of the house, was built as a detached house for the local landlord. It is built directly on a stone foundation fending earthquakes off by shaking the structure itself.The building is almost semi-outdoor, with only a wooden door as an external wall to blow the wind.
