Manhattan Townhouse Renovation | 529 East 87th

About This Renovation Our clients occupied the first two floors of this Manhattan townhouse, converted to condos with coveted access to the outdoors via a patio. The overall space had been well-maintained, but was dated and didn't necessarily reflect the aesthetic of our clients. Our goal was to brighten the home with character alongside modern elements. Caption In addition to a full kitchen renovation, this Manhattan townhouse renovation included implementation of new flooring, retiling and installing new fixtures in the bathroom and powder room, painting the walls, updating the staircase, renovating all the doors and closets, plus  new lighting fixtures throughout. 245 E 54th St Renovation

About This Renovation At the time of this Sutton Place co-op renovation, our clients were expecting their first child. Weighing the choice between relocating or renovating their current home in The Brevard—a modern post-war co-op in Midtown East—they decided to stay and transform their existing space. Enter Gallery. Upon consultation, we found their renovation goals focused on modernizing the kitchen, two bathrooms, and choice details throughout the home, including custom millwork around PTAC units. Our design leaned toward a mid-century modern style, with primary focus on functionality and modernization. A fresh start, from the comfort of home. 335 Greenwich St. Renovation

About This Renovation Renovating in NYC always presents challenges, but the Tribeca condo we fully renovated at 335 Greenwich St required a distinct transformation. Once an artist’s live-work studio, the open air space carried traces of past creativity—paint-splattered floors, an industrial layout, and a configuration that prioritized work over everyday living. When a newlywed couple purchased the corner loft, they set out to create a home that balanced contemporary sophistication with subtle nods to the building’s Art Deco heritage. Enter Gallery. Manhattan Classic 8 Pre-War Apartment Renovation

This project was a full home renovation of an Upper West Side classic 8 pre-war apartment, meaning we updated all the flooring, renovated the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, and office space, then painted throughout. The cherry on top: we maintained and enhanced the pre-war charm with restoration and refinishing work throughout the apartment. Caption DESIGN DETAILS An aesthetic and architectural gem, this classic 8 (a 7 with an extra laundry room to make 8), boasts ten foot ceilings, French doors, a wood-paneled dining room, and a generally well-maintained structure. But certain elements, like most of the previous kitchen, were entirely out of character with the historic charm inherent to the appeal of many pre-war apartments. To bring t... Mehr

Manhattan Condo Renovation

This sizable Manhattan renovation found us overhauling a previously-combined two-unit condo in The Chelsea Mercantile, an iconic 19-story pre-war building in Chelsea. Our clients, a couple with three small children, acquired the enlarged 252 Seventh Avenue residence with an aim to blend modern comfort with the charm of yesteryear. Caption With a growing family and an expanded unit as their canvas, their renovation aspirations welcomed a more open and functional layout, requiring outside the box structural planning. While redefining the kitchen's placement and converting a portion of the original living area into a new third bedroom were central to the renovation, considerable attention was also dedicated to fully upgrading three bathr... Upper East Side Co-Op Renovation

We’re beaming about our recent co-op renovation on the Upper East Side. Located at Riverview South, a few blocks from Gracie Mansion, this two bedroom, two bath was a dated post-war home that hadn't been renovated for years. That’s when the client brought Gallery into the equation. Our full-service approach allowed us to hone in on his design objectives, execute the architectural plans accordingly and then work together to materialize the construction of his dream home.  Caption Caption MID-CENTURY MODERN MAKEOVER REQUIRES ALTERING SPACE Upon purchase, the client’s goal was to renovate his outdated Manhattan co-op and make the property his own via a polished style and mid-century modern design.
