68 Home n Café
Located in the new urban area of Rạch Giá, a coastal city in southern Vietnam known for swiftlet farming, 68 Home n Café occupies a corner lot with two open facades. While this provides natural ventilation, the site presents challenges such as high residential density, traffic noise, and sounds from nearby swiftlet houses. The design carefully balances privacy, sound insulation, and urban connectivity.

The core concept driving the restaurant was the creation of a "small garden" within a larger one. Through the ingenious carving out of a central hollow within a substantial box-like structure, architects fashioned an outdoor tropical sanctuary, blending human habitation with water features and verdant foliage.

Labri by Nguyen Khai Architects and Associates evokes the feeling of a secret shelter in harmony with nature
On a 100-square-meter site at the end of a small alley in Hue City, Vietnam, a couple nearing retirement found an ideal spot to develop their vision of a house with Nguyen Khai Architects & Associates. Hiroyuki Oki
The house comprises four blocks, all different in height and randomly positioned and rotated at different angles according to the elements on site. The blocks are all connected by pathways and fixed ladders.
