Cottet Iachetti is an architecture studio based in Buenos Aires and set up in 2014 by Carlos Cottet and Victoria Iachetti.
Our practice was born from the collective concern of understanding the reality in which we live and the desire and the need to live better. It grows with the motivation to rethink things, to find new equilibriums and generate new spaces that identify and transform us.
We are mostly committed to the design and development of residential and commercial projects in urban environments. Our work focuses on the understanding, synthesis and materialization of the needs of our clients, providing smart and beautiful solutions. Every project developed in our studio undergoes a thorough and continuous research process that analyzes the site, program, building materials and construction processes to determine an effective allocation of resources and produce high quality spatial experiences. Our practice pivots on this relentless design process with a fine attention to detail.
Our enduring update, creation and exchange of content, design criteria and resources overflow the scope of our work towards the academic realm.
The studio’s work has been published in multiple architecture platforms and media, both locally and internationally. Additionally, our work has been selected for the SCA CPAU Award of Argentinean Architecture and awarded the SCA Recent Work Argentina.
