Relying on its 30-years-experience in the wooden frames market, Ravaioli Legnami offers and provides wooden solution for construction industry, thanks to its 10.000 square meters of facilities, composed by more than 50 collaborators distributed in 3 branches. Thanks to its sales network in the last few years it has reached a deeper widespread coverage of Italy and other UE and Mediterranean countries. Ravaioli Legnami acts as a leader in two different worlds: the one of wooden profiles for doors and windows frames, and the one concerning outdoor wood, called decking, for which Ravaioli deals with the definition of projects, manufacturing, selling, installation and assistance in the building site. Founded in 1976 by Urbano Ravaioli in Villanova di Bagnacavallo (RA) and taken over in 1985 by the Bagnari family, thanks to continued investments in technology and innovation, the company was transformed from a small workshop specialized in the production of wooden profiles to become one of the most competitive in the industry. Ravaioli expanded its roots over the territory creating two operating subsidiaries in Villanova di Castenaso (BO) in 1996 and in Rimini in 2000. In 2002 Ravaioli Legnami diversified its production by focusing on outdoor decking. The company began importing raw planks of exotic wood from Asia, Africa and South America, using the machines customarily used for profiles to process exotic wood. A strategic choice that resulted in the company’s impressive growth trend that continues today. Ravaioli Decking Building®, its new registered mark in Europe, is a concept that has been growing from this kind of company culture and it represent a new way of conceiving decking that overcomes the classical design rules from the horizontal to the vertical dimension, from the outdoor to the indoor use, from the interior design to the big landscape design projects. The Ravaioli Decking Building® formula reflects the company’s vocation for wooden exteriors, based on a constant selection and search for the finest materials, on high quality standards, products and services, on qualified staff and manufacturing facilities at the service of superior architectural and functional creativity complying with sustainability standards. There are three criteria that characterize the Ravaioli Decking Building® concept: - Class 1 durability of essences: the best class related to the resistance to insects, fungi and mould, ideal for any type of outdoor use and also for indoor environments with high levels of humidity; - Design: based on the use of natural woods, that are not resinous, with no knots, imperfections or possible presence of resin, with no aptitude in cracking, splitting or peeling. In this way the wood’s aspect maintains integrally its feature, which is critical in order to obtain success in every ambitious architectonic or indoor project. - The selection of oily woods: more stable and with pre-fixed features of hardness, shrinkage coefficient and saturation point of the fibres, and also with precise performance of resistance to torsion, bending and elasticity. The only exceptions concern products that are varnished and/or thermo-treated, procedures that are made to keep the wood looking natural or more beautiful, with the advantage of erasing imperfections that are due to the nature of some kind of essence or to the passing of time, and improving at the same time their physical properties, making them more stable and attractive for a long time.
