Frame Model R.1

The Suit'd Suits Frame Model collection R.1 is fitting the Berker brand wiring accessory parts, from their renowned R-series.

It was in 2016 that we decided to make matching styling frames for a specific brand, in order to achieve a full range with lots of application possibilities. With focussing on only one electro-technical brand, our clients would never be confused about the applicability. We felt most connected to German family business Hager (est.1955) and decided to partner with them to make more logic combinations; our styling frames with their technology.
The combination is astonishing. The typically handcrafted ceramic and wooden Suit’d Suits surface frames from the R.1 Series give a very human and friendly look and feel to the high quality products of Berker. The evident minor irregularities of the ceramic production process and the real wooden plywood surfaces from Plexwood go surprisingly well with the flawlessly produced German parts that are underneath.

The Suit’d Suits Frame Model collection R.1 come in warm and attractive woods from Dutch woodmanufacturer Plexwood, and handmade and genuine crafted Dutch ceramics by Royal Goedewaagen. The ceramics can be glazed in sophisticated colours, or hand painted with original Delft Blue figures and even with realistic micro-copies of real paintings embedded in the glazing.
