The new railway station of Logrono, in railway service from December 18, 2011, has been designed according to the directives planned in the winning project of the " International Contest for the Urban Integration of the Railroad in the City of Logrono ", organized by the Company(Society) Logrono Integration of the Railroad 2002. The above mentioned project was outlined by the architects Abalos+Sentkiewicz.

This new terminal, which is part of the works of integration of the railway in the capital of La Rioja, in its first phase, has been built following parameters of integral accessibility that facilitate the mobility and the transit facilities, included the accesses to them.

Architecturally, highlights the curious outer Logroño station, conceived as an artificial passable hill of 8,000 square meters dedicated to entertainment general.
