AGORA SPACE

La Maison de la Radio is an iconic building that is well-know, and the Radio France logo is reproduced within the building by architect Henry Bernard. At the center of the historic logo, there is a red located at the heart of the building. Our project for the Agora space creates an artificial landscape, made up of a many small mobile units that are colored and can be reconfigured as desired, following the chromatic logic established by Architecture Studio, as well as the idea of the Original logo elements varying from red to black. The landscape is made up of a multitude of parallelipedic blocks which make fixed structures around which are articulated mobile structures, reconfigurable at leisure, which make up the three main spaces of the Agora. At the center of the agora, in the middle of the glass cylinder, the landscape forms a scene, made up of modular elements and also off erring as many configurations as possible and being stored in the space made available by the existing pits. The central scenic structure is complemented by a mobile acoustic lens, which takes up the aesthetics of the elegant peripheral glass façade and completes it into a movable ceiling. The overall plan has been optimized in such a way as to ensure continuity of the street and fluid circulation allowing easy connection with existing radials.
